Breech Presentation
Breech presentation means the baby is bottom or feet first in the uterus. While common early in pregnancy, only about three percent remain breech near term. This increases the chance of a complicated vaginal birth or C-section. External Cephalic Version (ECV) can attempt to turn the baby. Birth options include planned C-section or, in some cases, attempted vaginal birth.
